On love… real, Biblical love is not really an emotion. It is a choice to give yourself for another’s good with no strings attached. Terms like unconditional, sacrificial, and self-less are used to explain agape love. This is the love God has for us.
God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
Slow to suspect—quick to trust,
Slow to condemn—quick to justify,
Slow to offend—quick to defend,
Slow to expose—quick to shield,
Slow to reprimand—quick to forbear,
Slow to belittle—quick to appreciate,
Slow to demand—quick to give,
Slow to provoke—quick to conciliate,
Slow to hinder—quick to help,
Slow to resent—quick to forgive.
Believe it or not, we are in the early stages of planning for Vacation Bible School. We are targeting the week of June 26-30 for this ministry. If you are looking to serve in some way for that week, begin by saving the dates. The time will be the same as last year 9:15-12:15 each day. Begin praying for the hearts of those who will be involved and also for the youth that will attend.
“Do not have your concert first and tune your instruments afterward. Begin the day with God.” – Hudson Taylor (1832–1905)
Sermon Recordings – If you miss a service and want a copy of a message for yourself or friend, please let us know. We can send an audio file link to your email or give you a CD free of charge. Please just fill out the form on the literature table in the foyer and give the completed form to Pastor or Ed Campbell.
