Dear Friend,

Is it April or January out there today? We are definitely getting the warmer temps and rains like an April would bring.

Obviously, the purpose of this weekly communication is not to speak about the weather but to give you a foretaste of what to expect this Sunday at Truth Bible Church and to share other important timely notes.

This Sunday morning I will bring a message from Matthew 7 called “Two Gates, Two Paths, Two Destinations.” I have decided to wait to return to our 1 Peter series to address a very important, eternally impacting theme from the lips of the Lord himself. If you are able to, read through Matthew 7 to get a taste and become familiar with the text. We will also have the joy and encouragement of hearing from the Orchestra through ministry of music.

Our evening service will feature a guest speaker – Pastor Gary Myers. Pastor Myers is a dear friend and fellow-servant of Christ. He has pastored (for 41 years) and still pastors the Biblical Baptist Church in Meshoppen, PA. He also serves as the president of our fellowship of churches, the Fellowship of Fundamental Bible Churches. Come out to hear what God has put on His heart.

Other notes:
– Remember Adam Lacy today as he has another biopsy of his heart to determine the effectiveness of his blood treatments.

– We have 2 young people leaving this afternoon to go to Tri-State Bible Camp’s winter weekend today and tomorrow. Pray for a good time for all and safe travels for all those traveling.

– Youth Group meets tonight from 7-9 at the church. Spread the word; any young people in grades 6-12 are invited.

– The choir will have rehearsal Sunday night at 5 PM.

– The next Men’s Breakfast is Feb. 3rd at 8 AM. Sign up at church; invite a friend!

– Ladies… sign up to get a copy of the book “None Like Him.” The next Ladies’ fellowship is Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 6:30.

Have a great weekend! Go Eagles…

See you Sunday.

Pastor Dave
