Our Annual Meeting last Sunday gave the membership an opportunity to review some reports, elect a few officers, and approve the budget for 2018. It was a productive meeting; I am grateful for the unified spirit among our small group. If you would like a copy of the annual report, there are a few extra copies in the foyer. Minutes from the meeting will be posted shortly!
Some of the major items of business were:
1 – Ed Campbell was reelected to the position of treasurer and Marilyn Willis was reelected to the position of clerk.
2 – The 2018 budget was approved. You can view this on the bulletin board.
3 – Tri-State Bible Camp was added to our missionary family. Monthly support will begin at $100 a month. TSBC is owned and operated by our fellowship of churches.
Interesting… hmm!!! How many verses are in the Bible about “Eagles” & “Patriots?”
Eagles 33 – Patriots 0
Special conference – save the date! Our fellowship of churches is holding its annual Rejuvenate Conference on Friday, April 6th at Hardingville Bible Church beginning at 10:15. The theme this year is “Preparing the Next Generation.” There will be a few workshops on practical topics; the keynote speaker is Dr. Allen Griffith. The cost is $25 which covers the conference, continental breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you cannot attend the conference, but would still like to come for the evening portion, dinner will begin at 5:15 followed by a musical concert by the Pagliarini family at 6:30, the cost for both dinner and the concert is $10. A love offering will also be taken to help with the Spring project at Tri-State Bible Camp. Please sign up on the bulletin board if you intend to go. See pastor, if you have any questions.
