Today is a glorious day for the church around the globe as Christians celebrate the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. We, like the Apostle Paul, exclaim O death where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? (1 Corinthians 15:55). What was it like to arrive at the tomb where Jesus was laid only to find the tomb entrance thrown wide open and the tomb empty? Great fear, excitement, wonder, and joy were no doubt some of the emotions present that resurrection day. What was it like to hear from an angel that Jesus was alive? We rejoice in the news reported by the angel He is risen; He is not here (Mark 16:6).
When we preach Christ crucified, we have no reason
to stammer, or stutter, or hesitate, or apologize;
there is nothing in the gospel of which we have
any cause to be ashamed. – Charles Spurgeon

Time is short – we need to be serious about the mission of our Lord to go and make disciples of Christ! Let’s pray and go…
