Dear Church Family and Friends of TBC,
There are some real needs and burdens among our church family recently… John Willis is still in Salem Hospital dealing with a lingering infection. He thinks he possibly could come home today; it just depends on his numbers. Tim Eachus’ mom (also Hazel’s sister) had successful stomach surgery this morning. Hazel found out her son, Adam in Texas, now has shingles. He is also receiving radiation treatments. And Dacia’s dad has pneumonia and other health struggles that are requiring time and attention besides the normal cares for her mom and her own family. Let us uphold these people and circumstances before the Lord.
As we look ahead to Sunday, I will bring another message on “Facing Fiery Trials” from 1 Peter 4:12-19 and we will observe the Lord’s Table together. For our evening service, we will have a missionary presentation from Wesley and Amanda Barley – they are on deputation to Mexico. You can read more on them here – https://www.barleystomexico.org/. Wesley will also open God’s Word with us. We will be collecting a love offering for them; so please pray about what the Lord might have you to give. Following the service, there will be a fellowship time with refreshments for all.
