Pastor’s Desk

Family picPastor Dave grew up in a Christian home in Williamstown, NJ, and attended Hardingville Bible Church in Monroeville, NJ during his Jr. and Sr. high school years. He attended and graduated from Gloucester County Christian School [7th-12th grade] in Sewell, NJ. After high school, Pastor Dave attended Bob Jones University and completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies (2004). The following year He completed a Master of Arts degree in Theology (2005). Pastor Dave was married in July 2005 to Dawn Rasmussen. Dawn likewise was raised in South Jersey (Pitman), attended/graduated from GCCS and BJU (BA Nursing 2004). The Lord has richly blessed them with three beautiful children, Anna, Andrew and Joshua.

In August of 2005, Pastor Dave joined the pastoral staff of the Hardingville Bible Church as a Pastoral Intern/Assistant to the Pastor, gaining a wealth of experience in all aspects of pastoral ministry from Pastor Mark Franklin. He was ordained to the gospel ministry in March of 2008. During his time at HBC, Pastor Franklin was especially burdened of the Lord to attempt starting a new church in the Mannington/Alloway area of Salem County. In 2006 a Bible Study began and over the next several years the Bible study group developed into a new local church. In September of 2008, Pastor Dave was led by the Lord to become the first Pastor of this new ministry. Pastor Dave and Dawn and their three children reside in the church parsonage at 21 Alloway Friesburg Rd., Alloway, NJ. Our personal mailing address is PO Box 424, Alloway, NJ 08001.

Pastor Dave is especially passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission. He prays that God’s truth convicts the unsaved and equips the redeemed to live out the Great Commission to the glory of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20).

Where will you spend Eternity?

By Don Campbell

The “information highway” would be incomplete without the most important data one could ever read. All are sinners in the sight of a Holy God (Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23), and are presently under the judgement of God (Romans 6:23, John 3:18). God, in his infinite grace, sent His Son Jesus Christ to be our Savior (John 3:16, Romans 5:6-8). He died for our sins and shed His precious blood for the forgiveness of sin. His resurrection secured our hope of eternal life in heaven (John 10:28, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4). You must personally turn from your sin and ask Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sin (Romans 10:9-10). All who call upon the Lord in personal faith will be saved (Romans 10:13). These truths will vitally affect your eternal destiny. Will you place your faith in Jesus Christ today? Friend, feel free to contact us for some free material that will help you understand salvation.
